New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $768 in 2025, up 2.4% from $750 in 2024. That is about 10% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Cecil Hills recorded 145 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 21.6% from 185 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $780 a week and flats/units at $455. Townhouse bonds sat at $680 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $500; three-bedroom bonds $700. One-bedroom bonds sat at $450 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $800 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $680 and $850 a week. Fair Trading recorded 539 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $570 to $768 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 56 and violent-related offences 59. Theft made up the largest published share (38 incidents, 26%). Next was Assault (29). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
