Bonnyrigg Heights is a NSW suburb in Fairfield LGA, matched to postcode 2177 — also covering Bonnyrigg, Wentworth Port. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $630 in 2025, up 5.0% from $600 in 2024. That is about 9% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Bonnyrigg Heights recorded 162 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 1.2% from 164 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $700 a week and flats/units at $555. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $550; three-bedroom bonds $650. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $862 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $550 and $750 a week. Fair Trading recorded 223 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $450 to $630 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 80 and violent-related offences 45. Theft made up the largest published share (59 incidents, 36%). Next was Assault (26). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026.
