Woonona recorded 577 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 7.8% from 626 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $850 a week and flats/units at $530. Half of new bonds sat between $650 and $890 a week. Fair Trading recorded 204 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $570 to $750 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 198 and violent-related offences 131. Theft made up the largest published share (146 incidents, 25%). Next was Transport regulatory offences (108). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
