Toormina recorded 737 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 10.1% from 820 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $650 a week and flats/units at $440. Townhouse bonds sat at $550 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $500; three-bedroom bonds $630. One-bedroom bonds sat at $400 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $780 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $450 and $669 a week. Fair Trading recorded 449 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $480 to $580 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 250 and violent-related offences 289. Theft made up the largest published share (166 incidents, 22%). Next was Assault (144). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
