Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Boambee recorded 68 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 6.8% from 73 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $680 a week and flats/units at $475. Townhouse bonds sat at $630 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $520; three-bedroom bonds $650. One-bedroom bonds sat at $390 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $790 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $470 and $700 a week. Fair Trading recorded 1,825 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $470 to $595 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 20 and violent-related offences 33. Assault made up the largest published share (18 incidents, 26%). Next was Theft (14). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
