Boomerang Beach is a NSW suburb in Mid-Coast LGA, matched to postcode 2428 — also covering Blueys Beach, Booti Booti, Charlotte Bay and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $520 in 2025, up 6.1% from $490 in 2024. That is about 25% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Boomerang Beach recorded 15 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $625 a week and flats/units at $420. Townhouse bonds sat at $570 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $440; three-bedroom bonds $600. One-bedroom bonds sat at $320 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $670 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $415 and $640 a week. Fair Trading recorded 870 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $400 to $520 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 9. Violent-related offences: 4. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
