Rental reviews in The Rock, NSW 2655

The Rock is a NSW suburb in Wagga Wagga LGA, matched to postcode 2655 — also covering Birdlip, French Park, Kubura and nearby localities. Postcode 2655 did not have enough new bonds with a known rent in the latest year to quote a median (Fair Trading cells need at least 10 known weekly rents). The Rock recorded 56 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 36.6% from 41 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. Fair Trading recorded 8 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2022–2023 the postcode median moved from $328 to $380 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 41 and violent-related offences 10. Theft made up the largest published share (33 incidents, 59%). Next was Malicious damage to property (7). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026. Some person-offence categories are not itemised here because suburb geography under-counts them. Do not rank this suburb as more or less dangerous from the raw incident total. Until population is joined, a high count can simply mean more people, more visitors, or more policing.
