Metford recorded 590 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 31.1% from 450 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $630 a week and flats/units at $420. Townhouse bonds sat at $550 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $480; three-bedroom bonds $600. One-bedroom bonds sat at $340 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $700 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $480 and $650 a week. Fair Trading recorded 770 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $420 to $590 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 174 and violent-related offences 193. Theft made up the largest published share (117 incidents, 20%). Next was Transport regulatory offences (105). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
