Macquarie Links recorded 119 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 21.2% from 151 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $730 a week and flats/units at $482. Half of new bonds sat between $550 and $790 a week. Fair Trading recorded 994 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $500 to $695 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Transport regulatory offences were 88 (74% of the total); excluding them, the count is 31. Fare and parking enforcement can move that category independently of neighbourhood property or violent crime. Transport regulatory offences made up the largest published share (88 incidents, 74%).
