Killarney Heights is a NSW suburb in Northern Beaches LGA, matched to postcode 2087 — also covering Forestville. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $895 in 2025, down 9.8% from $992 in 2024. That is about 29% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Killarney Heights recorded 72 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 4.3% from 69 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $1,250 a week and flats/units at $580. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $780; three-bedroom bonds $1,100. One-bedroom bonds sat at $560 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $1,400 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $600 and $1,300 a week. Fair Trading recorded 249 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $838 to $895 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 28 and violent-related offences 31. Assault made up the largest published share (18 incidents, 25%). Next was Theft (15). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
