Holroyd is a NSW suburb in Parramatta LGA, matched to postcode 2142 — also covering Blaxcell, Camellia, Clyde and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $600 in 2025, unchanged from $600 in 2024. That is about 14% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Holroyd recorded 73 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 36.5% from 115 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $660 a week and flats/units at $600. Townhouse bonds sat at $670 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $600; three-bedroom bonds $700. One-bedroom bonds sat at $468 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $820 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $504 and $710 a week. Fair Trading recorded 1,475 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $396 to $600 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 41 and violent-related offences 14. Theft made up the largest published share (26 incidents, 36%). Next was Malicious damage to property (13). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
