Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Coledale recorded 44 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 10.0% from 40 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $950 a week and flats/units at $610. Townhouse bonds sat at $850 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $692; three-bedroom bonds $950. One-bedroom bonds sat at $510 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $1,250 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $680 and $1,150 a week. Fair Trading recorded 266 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $650 to $835 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 16 and violent-related offences 14. Theft made up the largest published share (15 incidents, 34%). Next was Assault (7). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
