Cassilis is a NSW suburb in Warrumbungle LGA, matched to postcode 2329 — also covering Borambil, Merriwa, Uarbry. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $420 in 2025, up 9.1% from $385 in 2024. That is about 40% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Cassilis recorded 13 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $430 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $360; three-bedroom bonds $450. Half of new bonds sat between $368 and $472 a week. Fair Trading recorded 47 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $275 to $420 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 5. Violent-related offences: 4. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026. Some person-offence categories are not itemised here because suburb geography under-counts them.
