Wee Jasper is a NSW suburb in Hilltops LGA, matched to postcode 2582 — also covering Bango, Berremangra, Boambolo and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $550 in 2025, up 1.9% from $540 in 2024. That is about 21% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Wee Jasper recorded 123 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 23.1% from 160 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $570 a week and flats/units at $350. Townhouse bonds sat at $530 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $420; three-bedroom bonds $550. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $695 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $460 and $650 a week. Fair Trading recorded 175 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $470 to $550 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 2 and violent-related offences 3. Drug offences made up the largest published share (114 incidents, 93%). Next was Theft (2). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
