Waterfall recorded 59 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 20.3% from 74 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $900 a week and flats/units at $650. Townhouse bonds sat at $895 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $650; three-bedroom bonds $875. One-bedroom bonds sat at $530 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $1,050 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $650 and $950 a week. Fair Trading recorded 299 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $550 to $800 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 23 and violent-related offences 14. Malicious damage to property made up the largest published share (17 incidents, 29%). Next was Transport regulatory offences (9). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
