Upper Macdonald is a NSW suburb in The Hills LGA, matched to postcode 2775 — also covering Central Macdonald, Fernances, Gunderman and nearby localities. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Upper Macdonald recorded 1 criminal incident in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $515 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $370; three-bedroom bonds $560. Half of new bonds sat between $370 and $598 a week. Fair Trading recorded 31 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $350 to $480 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 0. Violent-related offences: 1. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026.
