Tomingley is a NSW suburb in Narromine LGA, matched to postcode 2869 — also covering Mungery, Peak Hill, Trewilga. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $320 in 2025, up 6.7% from $300 in 2024. That is about 54% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Tomingley recorded 39 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 23.5% from 51 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $345 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $300 and $390 a week. Fair Trading recorded 15 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $250 to $320 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 20 and violent-related offences 9. Theft made up the largest published share (18 incidents, 46%). Next was Assault (6). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026. Some person-offence categories are not itemised here because suburb geography under-counts them.
