Terrigal is a NSW suburb in Central Coast (NSW) LGA, matched to postcode 2260 — also covering Erina Heights, Forresters Beach, North Avoca and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $760 in 2025, up 1.3% from $750 in 2024. That is about 9% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Terrigal recorded 512 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 5.0% from 539 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $850 a week and flats/units at $600. Townhouse bonds sat at $750 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $600; three-bedroom bonds $775. One-bedroom bonds sat at $450 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $950 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $600 and $900 a week. Fair Trading recorded 736 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $625 to $760 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 164 and violent-related offences 205. Assault made up the largest published share (111 incidents, 22%). Next was Theft (108). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
