Stroud is a NSW suburb in Mid-Coast LGA, matched to postcode 2425 — also covering Allworth, Booral, Girvan and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $500 in 2025, unchanged from $500 in 2024. That is about 28% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Stroud recorded 49 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 2.0% from 50 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $500 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $410 and $535 a week. Fair Trading recorded 19 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $380 to $500 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 12 and violent-related offences 28. Assault made up the largest published share (13 incidents, 26%). Next was Intimidation, stalking and harassment (11). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026. Some person-offence categories are not itemised here because suburb geography under-counts them.
