South West Rocks recorded 382 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 11.0% from 429 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $550 a week and flats/units at $380. Townhouse bonds sat at $530 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $400; three-bedroom bonds $550. One-bedroom bonds sat at $340 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $600 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $400 and $580 a week. Fair Trading recorded 264 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $400 to $530 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 175 and violent-related offences 111. Theft made up the largest published share (141 incidents, 37%). Next was Assault (54). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
