Sandilands is a NSW suburb in Richmond Valley LGA, matched to postcode 2469 — also covering Alice, Banyabba, Bean Creek and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $350 in 2025, down 5.4% from $370 in 2024. That is about 50% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Sandilands recorded 1 criminal incident in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $400 a week and flats/units at $280. Half of new bonds sat between $295 and $455 a week. Fair Trading recorded 35 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $300 to $350 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 0. Violent-related offences: 0. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026. Some person-offence categories are not itemised here because suburb geography under-counts them.
