Richmond is a NSW suburb in Penrith LGA, matched to postcode 2753 — also covering Agnes Banks, Bowen Mountain, Grose Vale and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $600 in 2025, up 5.3% from $570 in 2024. That is about 14% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Richmond recorded 553 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 11.8% from 627 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $630 a week and flats/units at $460. Townhouse bonds sat at $622 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $500; three-bedroom bonds $630. One-bedroom bonds sat at $392 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $765 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $510 and $700 a week. Fair Trading recorded 451 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $450 to $600 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 269 and violent-related offences 160. Theft made up the largest published share (215 incidents, 39%). Next was Assault (83). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
