Randwick is a NSW suburb in Randwick LGA, matched to postcode 2031 — also covering Clovelly, Clovelly West, Randwick Dc and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $880 in 2025, up 3.5% from $850 in 2024. That is about 27% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Randwick recorded 1,455 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 22.6% from 1,187 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $1,450 a week and flats/units at $850. Townhouse bonds sat at $1,350 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $900; three-bedroom bonds $1,350. One-bedroom bonds sat at $750 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $2,000 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $780 and $1,075 a week. Fair Trading recorded 2,567 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $595 to $880 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 740 and violent-related offences 275. Theft made up the largest published share (634 incidents, 44%). Next was Against justice procedures (233). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
