Palm Beach is a NSW suburb in Northern Beaches LGA, matched to postcode 2108 — also covering Coasters Retreat, Currawong Beach, Great Mackerel Beach and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $1,450 in 2025, up 0.1% from $1,448 in 2024. That is about 109% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Palm Beach recorded 60 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 9.1% from 55 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $1,750 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $1,775 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $1,175 and $2,000 a week. Fair Trading recorded 35 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $1,225 to $1,450 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 23 and violent-related offences 12. Theft made up the largest published share (19 incidents, 32%). Next was Other offences (12). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026.
