Nimmitabel is a NSW suburb in Bega Valley LGA, matched to postcode 2631 — also covering Ando, Bocci, Boco and nearby localities. Postcode 2631 did not have enough new bonds with a known rent in the latest year to quote a median (Fair Trading cells need at least 10 known weekly rents). Nimmitabel recorded 24 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 17.2% from 29 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. Fair Trading recorded 5 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 5 and violent-related offences 7. Against justice procedures made up the largest published share (6 incidents, 25%). Next was Intimidation, stalking and harassment (4). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026. Some person-offence categories are not itemised here because suburb geography under-counts them. Do not rank this suburb as more or less dangerous from the raw incident total. Until population is joined, a high count can simply mean more people, more visitors, or more policing.
