Myrtle Creek is a NSW suburb in Richmond Valley LGA, matched to postcode 2469 — also covering Alice, Banyabba, Bean Creek and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $350 in 2025, down 5.4% from $370 in 2024. That is about 50% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Myrtle Creek recorded 18 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $400 a week and flats/units at $280. Half of new bonds sat between $295 and $455 a week. Fair Trading recorded 35 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $300 to $350 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 14. Violent-related offences: 1. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026. Some person-offence categories are not itemised here because suburb geography under-counts them.
