Mylestom is a NSW suburb in Nambucca Valley LGA, matched to postcode 2454 — also covering Bellingen, Brierfield, Brinerville and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $570 in 2025, up 0.9% from $565 in 2024. That is about 18% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Mylestom recorded 54 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 12.9% from 62 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $620 a week and flats/units at $380. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $510; three-bedroom bonds $620. One-bedroom bonds sat at $350 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $690 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $475 and $660 a week. Fair Trading recorded 145 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $480 to $570 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 7 and violent-related offences 6. Other offences made up the largest published share (37 incidents, 68%). Next was Theft (5). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
