Mount Ousley recorded 41 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 2.4% from 42 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $750 a week and flats/units at $535. Townhouse bonds sat at $740 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $564; three-bedroom bonds $740. One-bedroom bonds sat at $450 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $920 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $540 and $800 a week. Fair Trading recorded 469 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $480 to $650 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 21 and violent-related offences 9. Theft made up the largest published share (16 incidents, 39%). Next was Drug offences (6). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
