Millers Point is a NSW suburb in Sydney LGA, matched to postcode 2000 — also covering Barangaroo, Darling Harbour, Dawes Point and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $949 in 2025, up 7.8% from $880 in 2024. That is about 36% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Millers Point recorded 113 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 34.3% from 172 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $1,100 a week and flats/units at $1,100. Townhouse bonds sat at $1,500 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $1,300; three-bedroom bonds $1,900. One-bedroom bonds sat at $800 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $3,400 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $739 and $1,280 a week. Fair Trading recorded 6,763 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $620 to $949 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 42 and violent-related offences 30. Theft made up the largest published share (31 incidents, 27%). Next was Assault (15). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
