Martinsville is a NSW suburb in Cessnock LGA, matched to postcode 2265 — also covering Cooranbong. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $615 in 2025, up 6.0% from $580 in 2024. That is about 12% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Martinsville recorded 14 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $708 a week and flats/units at $375. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $450; three-bedroom bonds $580. One-bedroom bonds sat at $345 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $768 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $450 and $761 a week. Fair Trading recorded 268 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $400 to $615 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 6. Violent-related offences: 5. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026.
