Mannus is a NSW suburb in Snowy Valleys LGA, matched to postcode 2653 — also covering Burra, Courabyra, Glenroy and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $385 in 2025, down 1.3% from $390 in 2024. That is about 45% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Mannus recorded 3 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $390 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $325; three-bedroom bonds $390. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $500 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $350 and $465 a week. Fair Trading recorded 63 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $310 to $385 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 2. Violent-related offences: 1. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026.
