Harwood is a NSW suburb in Clarence Valley LGA, matched to postcode 2465. Postcode 2465 did not have enough new bonds with a known rent in the latest year to quote a median (Fair Trading cells need at least 10 known weekly rents). Harwood recorded 14 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. Fair Trading recorded 6 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 9. Violent-related offences: 2. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026. Some person-offence categories are not itemised here because suburb geography under-counts them. Do not rank this suburb as more or less dangerous from the raw incident total. Until population is joined, a high count can simply mean more people, more visitors, or more policing. Sources: NSW Fair Trading rental bond lodgements, calendar 2025; NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research, Apr 2025 – Mar 2026. Read the charts as a snapshot of new leases and recorded incidents, not a live listing feed or a ranking of how safe a suburb is. A useful reading is to hold property and violent-related incidents in one hand and the postcode rent median in the other, without forcing them into a single score.
