Greigs Flat is a NSW suburb in Bega Valley LGA, matched to postcode 2549 — also covering Bald Hills, Broadwater, Lochiel and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $555 in 2025, up 11.4% from $498 in 2024. That is about 20% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Greigs Flat recorded 5 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $600 a week and flats/units at $460. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $470; three-bedroom bonds $620. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $680 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $426 and $658 a week. Fair Trading recorded 65 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $420 to $555 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 0. Violent-related offences: 1. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026.
