Grasmere recorded 21 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 59.6% from 52 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $750 a week and flats/units at $465. Townhouse bonds sat at $700 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $500; three-bedroom bonds $680. One-bedroom bonds sat at $450 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $750 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $600 and $780 a week. Fair Trading recorded 2,018 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $540 to $725 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 6 and violent-related offences 10. Assault made up the largest published share (6 incidents, 29%). Next was Theft (3). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
