Rental reviews in Grahamstown, NSW 2729

Grahamstown is a NSW suburb in Cootamundra-Gundagai LGA, matched to postcode 2729 — also covering Adelong, Back Creek, Bangadang and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $315 in 2025, down 12.5% from $360 in 2024. That is about 55% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Grahamstown recorded 4 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. Half of new bonds sat between $290 and $425 a week. Fair Trading recorded 10 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $230 to $315 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 3. Violent-related offences: 1. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026. Some person-offence categories are not itemised here because suburb geography under-counts them. Do not rank this suburb as more or less dangerous from the raw incident total.
