Glebe is a NSW suburb in Sydney LGA, matched to postcode 2037 — also covering Forest Lodge. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $800 in 2025, up 6.7% from $750 in 2024. That is about 15% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Glebe recorded 2,579 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 5.0% from 2,457 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $1,000 a week and flats/units at $790. Townhouse bonds sat at $1,200 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $1,000; three-bedroom bonds $1,280. One-bedroom bonds sat at $690 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $1,450 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $630 and $1,100 a week. Fair Trading recorded 1,839 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $520 to $800 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 1,113 and violent-related offences 506. Theft made up the largest published share (949 incidents, 37%). Next was Against justice procedures (567). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
