Davistown is a NSW suburb in Central Coast (NSW) LGA, matched to postcode 2251 — also covering Avoca Beach, Bensville, Bouddi and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $720 in 2025, up 4.0% from $692 in 2024. That is about 4% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Davistown recorded 60 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 11.1% from 54 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $780 a week and flats/units at $562. Townhouse bonds sat at $668 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $572; three-bedroom bonds $700. One-bedroom bonds sat at $410 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $950 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $600 and $900 a week. Fair Trading recorded 544 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $600 to $720 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 17 and violent-related offences 29. Assault made up the largest published share (15 incidents, 25%). Next was Theft (11). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
