Darkes Forest is a NSW suburb in Campbelltown (NSW) LGA, matched to postcode 2508 — also covering Coalcliff, Helensburgh, Lilyvale and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $800 in 2025, up 6.7% from $750 in 2024. That is about 15% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Darkes Forest recorded 7 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $875 a week and flats/units at $650. Townhouse bonds sat at $850 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $650; three-bedroom bonds $850. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $950 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $650 and $950 a week. Fair Trading recorded 136 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $595 to $800 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 1. Violent-related offences: 1. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
