New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $725 in 2025, up 3.6% from $700 in 2024. That is about 4% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Cronulla recorded 1,208 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 15.0% from 1,050 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $950 a week and flats/units at $700. Townhouse bonds sat at $1,150 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $725; three-bedroom bonds $1,100. One-bedroom bonds sat at $550 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $1,625 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $592 and $912 a week. Fair Trading recorded 1,562 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $550 to $725 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 289 and violent-related offences 316. Theft made up the largest published share (211 incidents, 18%). Next was Assault (195). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
