Brookvale is a NSW suburb in Northern Beaches LGA, matched to postcode 2100 — also covering Allambie, Allambie Heights, Beacon Hill and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $800 in 2025, unchanged from $800 in 2024. That is about 15% above the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Brookvale recorded 664 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, down 17.8% from 808 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $1,362 a week and flats/units at $680. Townhouse bonds sat at $850 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $825; three-bedroom bonds $1,250. One-bedroom bonds sat at $610 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $1,500 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $630 and $1,244 a week. Fair Trading recorded 521 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $640 to $800 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 382 and violent-related offences 123. Theft made up the largest published share (347 incidents, 52%). Next was Assault (72). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
