Bourkelands is a NSW suburb in Narrandera LGA, matched to postcode 2650 — also covering Alfredtown, Ashmont, Belfrayden and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $490 in 2025, up 6.5% from $460 in 2024. That is about 30% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Bourkelands recorded 72 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 9.1% from 66 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $520 a week and flats/units at $390. Townhouse bonds sat at $440 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $408; three-bedroom bonds $520. One-bedroom bonds sat at $300 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $640 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $409 and $580 a week. Fair Trading recorded 2,577 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $355 to $490 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 24 and violent-related offences 33. Theft made up the largest published share (18 incidents, 25%). Next was Intimidation, stalking and harassment (11). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
