Bombala is a NSW suburb in Bega Valley LGA, matched to postcode 2632 — also covering Bibbenluke, Bondi Forest, Bukalong and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $380 in 2025, up 8.6% from $350 in 2024. That is about 45% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Bombala recorded 60 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026, up 7.1% from 56 a year earlier. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $380 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $290; three-bedroom bonds $380. Half of new bonds sat between $350 and $390 a week. Fair Trading recorded 37 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $290 to $380 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Property offences totalled 22 and violent-related offences 17. Theft made up the largest published share (18 incidents, 30%). Next was Assault (9). The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026.
