Bar Point is a NSW suburb in Central Coast (NSW) LGA, matched to postcode 2083 — also covering Brooklyn, Cheero Point, Cogra Bay and nearby localities. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $625 in 2025, up 19.0% from $525 in 2024. That is about 10% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Bar Point recorded 11 criminal incidents in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $650 a week. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $630; three-bedroom bonds $672. Half of new bonds sat between $464 and $661 a week. Fair Trading recorded 32 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $550 to $625 a week. Because several suburbs share the postcode, the rent charts are a postcode picture, not a street-level one. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 3. Violent-related offences: 3. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode. The two windows are not identical: rents are calendar year, recorded crime is the 12 months to March 2026.
