Alice is a NSW suburb in Lismore LGA, matched to postcode 2470 — also covering Babyl Creek, Backmede, Baraimal and nearby localities. That postcode was the best available match among several, so treat the rent figures as indicative. New rental bonds in that postcode had a median weekly rent of $480 in 2025, up 6.7% from $450 in 2024. That is about 31% below the NSW median of $695. Bond medians describe new lodgements with Fair Trading, not every current lease in the suburb. Alice recorded 1 criminal incident in the 12 months to March 2026. These are police-recorded incidents, not convictions, and they are not adjusted for how many people live or visit here. House bonds typically leased at $520 a week and flats/units at $350. Two-bedroom bonds had a median of $368; three-bedroom bonds $500. One-bedroom bonds sat at $250 a week. Four-bedroom bonds sat at $580 a week. Half of new bonds sat between $378 and $550 a week. Fair Trading recorded 304 new bonds in the postcode in 2025. Over 2021–2025 the postcode median moved from $370 to $480 a week. Counts this small swing easily from year to year and should not be read as a trend on their own. Property offences: 1. Violent-related offences: 0. The crime series is coded to this suburb name; the rent series, where shown, is the whole postcode.
